A representative for Lady Gaga has confirmed to People magazine that she and former fiancé Christian Carino have gone separate ways, just four months after the singer had revealed in October last year that they were engaged.
“It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end,” the source said. “There’s no long dramatic story.”
The two started dating in 2017, after Gaga’s 2016 split from actor Taylor Kinney. At an Elle’s Women In Hollywood event in October, she had referred to Carino as her fiancé.

The couple raised their public profile by showing up together at the 2019 Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award ceremonies. However, rumors of a break-up surfaced after Carino, 50, a talent agent, was seen with a brunette in a restaurant two days before Feb. 10’s Grammy Awards.
This breakup brings up a scene in Gaga’s Netflix documentary “Gaga: Five Foot Two,” where she seemed to suggest that every time she reaches another level of success, it negatively impacts her love life.
While this must be sad news for some, some netizens are rejoicing, voicing their preference for her “A Star Is Born” co-star Bradley Cooper to win Gaga’s heart. Many are even rooting for the two to become a real life couple.
