Prepare the tissues for this one and only scene because Marvel just released a deleted scene that gives a very different spin on the biggest death in the “Avengers: Endgame” film.
The deleted scene revolves around Tony Stark’s final moments. As Iron Man, he finally defeated Thanos with a snap of his fingers and, where the original Endgame scene saw him surrounded by Pepper, War Machine, and Peter Parker, the alternate version takes a whole different turn.
Instead of Iron Man taking his last breaths surrounded just by loved ones surrounding him, the “Avengers: Endgame” deleted scene sees much of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes come together, taking a knee, to mourn and honor the founding father of the MCU. Almost everyone from Hawkeye to Blank Panther to Captain Marvel kneels for their fallen comrade. Even the Guardians of the Galaxy kneel, except Gamora.
This one particular moment with Gamora walking away has caused quite a buzz, but if you remember correctly, that’s not the Gamora we know that has come to be part of the Guardians family. She’s still her evil 2014 self (even though she did turn her back on Thanos again), and she is seen walking off.
The deleted scene will be part of the DVD release, but it’s a good start ahead o the release to watch the scene while t’s still viral on the Internet.
