Texas celebrates Asian culture with night market
Do you love street food? Well, Austin, Texas is known for having amazing street food, and in just a few months, there will be an entire weekend dedicated to Asian inspired eatery.
From Friday, September 27 until Saturday, September 28, the Austin Asian Night Market will be bringing the best street eats to one place. Austin Asian Night Market will be held at Austin American-Statesman, a popular location for foodie events. Aside from being filled with some of the tastiest food you could ever hope to taste, the event will also feature tons of games, music, crafts and more.
A single-day ticket is only $5 while a 2-night weekend pass is only $10. Those 12 and under get in for free.
The Asian food market will feature many delicious items from dumplings to tiramisu donut holes.
The Asian Eats Night Market in Austin occurred a once back in March and was an incredible success. Tons of food, drinks, and dessert vendors from every Asian culture and ethnicity, from Chinese to Thai to Japanese were there, and it was an event filled with lots to eat and lots of culture.
If the one coming up in September will be anything like the March event, the night market will be set up as if you are exploring the continent, starting in the middle east, through the south, to southeast Asia and all the way to East Asia. Food, vendors, and performers will all be set up in the area that they represent culturally.
