First there was the Museum of Ice Cream that everybody went crazy over because they had to take snazzy photos to post on Instgram. But as of right now, it looks like the magic of unicorns has carried into the New Year because Miami is getting a brand new Instagram playground — the Unicorn Factory.
Launched in 2019, the Unicorn Factory was “built to provide immersive and one-of-a-kind experiences for adults & children alike,” according to the website.
The Unicorn Factory is the brainchild of Michelle Kulikov and Julia Stein, and is a concept that promises to be a sensory experience with only the most coveted backdrops that are perfect for next ‘gram post.
Organizers will launch the immersive pop-up factory in Miami before taking it on the road.
Suki Jaafar of BySuki, creative director for Unicorn Factory, told the Miami New Times, “We’ve focused on making sure that all the materials used for the space are great for photography and that the lighting is just right. We want to ensure visitors get the best photos while they’re here.”
“Unicorn Factory was inspired by Michelle’s [Kulikov] love of everything rainbows and unicorns,” Jaafar continued.
Part of the reasons for opening up in Wynwood is because of its ideal location — it’s right in the center of an art district and draws in a lot of locals and tourists alike.
In addition to all the great photos guests can take, they can also snag some cool, colorful merchandise. At the end of the experience, a magical gift shop will offer a variety of colorful and magical items.
The Unicorn Factory is expected to open in March 2019 at is located at 2600 NW Fifth Ave., Miami. Tickets cost $38.
