Miley Cyrus brings the acoustics for new MTV Unplugged special
The “MTV Unplugged” music TV show will be hosting Miley Cyrus from the comfort of home in a new special, MTV Unplugged Presents “Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions.” Miley Spears will be performing live from her backyard with some covers and original songs.

She’ll be performing acoustic and stripped-down performance of her latest single debut at the MTV VMAs “Midnight Sky” along with some covers. You can catch Cyrus performing covers by Pearl Jam, The Cardigans, and “Gimme More” originally by Britney Spears.
Cyrus has performed for an MTV Unplugged session in 2014 and she performed a stripped-down version of her godmother’s hit song “Jolene” by Dolly Parton. The upcoming special will also feature a couple of surprises and maybe some guest appearances. MTV Unplugged Presents “Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions.” will air on MTV on October 16 at 7 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. CT.
