’13 Reasons Why’ Will End After The Fourth Season
The controversial teenage drama “13 Reasons Why” is set to return to Netflix for one more season, and this season will be it’s last, according to the company. The announcement came as the streaming giant prepares to premiere the drama’s third season later this month.
According to a Netflix spokesperson, the fourth season would feature “the core cast’s graduation from high school, which will be a natural conclusion to the show.”
“13 Reasons Why” has been the talk of controversy for a while now, especially with the show’s first series showing one of its characters taking her own life. Because of how graphic the scene was, Netflix recently announced that the scene had been removed “on the advice of medical experts.”
The second season of the series focused on the other students at the fictional Liberty High School, one of which was as alienated teen planning a mass shooting. With the new trailer that has been released for the upcoming third season, the series engages viewers by asking “Who killed Bryce Walker?” which is a reference to a student who was convicted of rape at the end of season two.
As stated by Netflix, Clay will come under police scrutiny after Bryce disappears in “an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone’s deepest secrets.”
