New 'Games of Thrones' cover with Indian beats is perfect for brooding over Season 6

If the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere has left you with more questions than answers, then this instrumental cover of the show’s intense theme song might just be the perfect way to brood over what has happened so far.

This cover of the original theme by Ramin Djawadi has been performed by Indian percussionist Karan Chitra Deshmukh with the tabla, a percussion traditional instrument played across south Asia. In the video, Deshmukh uses 10 tablas tuned to different notes.

Can’t wait for the next episode? Here are some more covers of the theme.
