Pokemon Fans Are Loving The New Character Yamper
If you have not noticed yet, corgis are all the rage, and naturally, Pokémon noticed. In an exciting new announcement delivered at E3, Nintendo dropped new information about their upcoming games, Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The corgi Pokemon’s name is Yamper, and technically considered to be an “electric species Pokémon.”
The internet has already been going nuts for Yamper, especially his adorable heart-shaped butt.
The new good boy is part of Pokémon Sword and Shield, and at the E3 convention, a demo of the game was made available for floor attendees in Nintendo’s booth. The demo revealed some key factors about Yamper, especially his moves, which are a mix of electric, fairy, and dark. Nintendo has not released any other official information.
However, Pokémon website Serebii posted a photo of Yamper’s Pokédex entry, which reads: “If the Pokémon is not holding an item, it will fetch the Poke Ball from the first failed throw of the battle.” This sounds like probably the easiest Pokémon to catch.
In other news, Nintendo debuted another new Pokémon from Sword and Shield including the beloved Wooloo, a raven taxi named Corviknight, the dandelion-like Eldegoss, and more. Pokémon Sword and Shield will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on Nov. 15, 2019.
