Though Principal Weatherbee tells Archie he won’t be able to graduate, Archie lies to his friends that he’ll graduate with them on time. Archie also takes interest in joining the Army which Veronica opposes.

Jughead stays behind in Riverdale after his father F.P. decides to move with his sister Jellybean to Toledo after the discovery that Jellybean was the mystery filmmaker sending anonymous films to Riverdale High students. Jughead also squats in the bunker before leaving for Iowa after being disappointed by a promise made by his friends. The following episodes take place 7 years into the future with Betty working for the FBI, Jughead working as a writer, and Archie on active military duty. The season is currently being aired on the CW on Wednesday night and the final season is already living up to the dramatic “Riverdale” reputation.
