It’s been a busy year for “RuPaul’s Drag Race” including the first seasons to feature queens from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Canada but plans to start 2021 with the next “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” That’s right, season 13 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” will be premiering the first day of 2021 with an unprecedented cast.
Though the competition drag show features an all-male cast, this season will be making “Drag Race” her-story with the first-ever trans male contestant. Several prior “Drag Race” contestants revealed on the show they’re trans but the season 13 contestant, Gottmik, will be the first trans man to enter the race for the crown.

The Los Angeles-based makeup artist will be the first trans man to compete on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and has appeared on the cover of Out magazine. Gottmik will have stiff competition against 12 queens for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.
Symone will be another queen making “Drag Race” history being the first contestant from Arkansas. Utica Queen hails from Minneapolis as one of the leading comedy queens with a wacky sense of style.
Denali is a professional figure skater from Chicago who incorporates this skater aesthetic into her drag and is a talented ice queen. Elliott with 2 Ts hails from Las Vegas for a showgirl queen inspired by the 80s.
Another dancing queen is Joey Jay from Pheonix and is a self-proclaimed crafting queen with rhinestones. Kandy Muse is walking into the werk room with a crown as the reining Brooklyn Drag Queen of the Year.

Kahmora Hall offers a unique competitive edge as her drag sister and mother is the Season 12 winner, Jaida Essence Hall. The Chicago queen will walk into the competition with inside knowledge and claims to have “Drag Race” in her blood.
This season will be filled with queens from New York including Olivia Lux with incredible piano playing skills and a background in musical theatre. Rosé is a New York queen who is friends with the Season 12 contestant Jan with the similar girl group style.
Tamisha Iman is a seasoned queen competing in drag pageants since the late 1990s and makes all of her garments that will be an advantage in creative challenges. Tina Burner is a title-holder for being National Miss Comedy Queen in 2019 and is known for her unique sense of style.
