Exploring The Options In Spider-Man Multiverse
Wouldn’t it be really cool to see Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man come together on the big screen? Well, fans are not the only ones thinking about this exact thing. “Spider-Man: Far From Home” producer Amy Pascal shared that she is “definitely” interested in a potential multiverse crossover between Holland’s wall-crawler and predecessors Garfield and Maguire.
“There are [possibilities]. Everything is possible,” Pascal said in an interview with Badtaste.it. “It would be very interesting.”
Marvel is known for creating multi-verses, so it isn’t a far stretch for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to bring it to life on the big screen. Sony’s animated Oscar winner “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” did just that and it was a huge success, going on to win Best Animated Feature.
Pascal went on to say, “In this sense, the multiverse is a winning idea because it opens up endless possibilities,” Pascal said. “We can literally do everything.”
Holland expressed his excitement for possibly doing a movie with his predecessors, saying, “Of course I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool! It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool. And it’s something that the fans really want.”
“Far From Home” is next up in the MCU and will further unravel the concept of a multiverse.
