Students help high school teacher pull off a sugary sweet proposal
There are countless ways to pop the big question, but nothing more is adorable for a teacher couple than incorporating their students.
High school teacher Jonathan Holt from Chalmette High School in Chalmette, Louisiana enlisted the help of students to help propose to his girlfriend, Iris, who teaches at the same school. With the help of the school principal, Holt was able to get Iris out of her classroom to tell her students about his plan.
“I’m about to propose to Ms. Howorth,” Holt told the class as they broke out into squeals of glee. He then informed the class of his master plan, which involved the students proposing to Iris using Ring Pops.
The proposals started with the class clown.
Then the rest of the class joined in.
Finally, Holt came into the room and asked himself, and thankfully, she said “yes.”
But that wasn’t all. Holt also enlisted the help of the school band to do a little bit of celebrating.
