Here are Alex’s three ways to offer your appetizers:
1. Easy: The one-can appetizer- Offer a can seafood board complete with one can of anchovies, or canned fish of your choosing, olive oil, salt and serve it with a hunk of bread. It’s easy and simple.
2. Medium:The statement fish appetizer- It’s the same concept as serving a hunk of cheese or meat, but with salmon! Serve the whole side of the smoked salmon on a board with crackers or bread, even some different toppings.
3. Hard:The seafood platter- Start with crushed ice and a deep platter. Go big with this one…crab claws, crab legs, oysters, etc.
