The new iOS update is proving to be less than savory for iPhone batteries everywhere. While the bugs get worked out (hopefully), here are some tips you can start using right now to help conserve your oh so precious battery life!
1. Go to settings > battery to see which apps are using all of your juice! Close whichever ones are taking up the most battery life.
2. When you’re below 20% battery, any last ditch effort will help. Turn on ‘low power mode’ in settings…it’s your best friend.
3. Apps that are always using your location is just code for, “always draining your battery.” So avoid apps that use your location even when you’re not using the app (switch location settings to ‘while using’ or ‘never’).
4. Turn on ‘auto brightness’ instead of blasting that screen brightness.
5. Turn off ‘push’ on your email settings.
