This couple duped an anti-gay pizzeria and then made out

Months after shutting its doors due to backlash for refusing to cater gay weddings, Memories Pizzeria in Indiana is back open for business, and they just catered a gay wedding. Well, inadvertently, but still.

Here’s how it all went down, according to Chicago couple Robin Trevino and Jason Delgatto. After having a commitment ceremony in 2008, Trevino and Delgatto wanted to mark the nationwide legalization of gay marriage by making their union official, and obtained a marriage license in Iowa, according to Uproxx.

The only decision left to make was what they would serve the guests at their wedding, which Trevino said became immediately clear after realizing he worked not far from Memories Pizzeria. Unbeknownst to the pizzeria, whose owners made headlines in April after stating they would refuse to cater gay weddings if asked, two of its pizzas were served to Trevino and Delgatto’s family and friends, including their one-year-old daughter.

Trevino, who performs with the “50 Shades of Gray” comedy troupe, documented his visit to Memories, and his wedding to Delgatto Saturday, in a YouTube video entitled “Memories Pizza Just Catered My Gay Wedding.”
