This 'Fallout 4' instructional cartoon teaches the virtues of being strong

You win, Fallout 4. This is great.

Our latest look at Bethesda Softworks‘ upcoming game isn’t a trailer, per se. It’s an animated, 1950s-style instructional video, set in the same time as the game’s world. (In this universe, the fictional bombs fell in the ’50s, so the world is frozen in time.) And hey, it features everybody’s favorite Vault-Boy.

This is the first in a series of looks at how Fallout 4‘s “S.P.E.C.I.A.L.” character stats work. Don’t let the lack of gameplay deter you: This is a fun, funny tease, and the series should help keep the hype train rolling at a steady clip as it barrels toward Fallout 4‘s Nov. 10 release.
