This Traffic Jam Looks Like a Brain-Teaser Puzzle

One of the reasons I’m not super huge on city driving is the risk of cramped traffic jams. Traffic jams are awful in any part of the world, of course, but there’s something about the tight confines of a city street that makes it even more rage-inducing. I guarantee if I ended up in this one, I’d be flailing and screeching like a chimpanzee.

In this footage taken in Skopje, Macedonia, we see a traffic jam configuration bordering on impossible. I don’t know how all of these cars ended up like this or how long they’d been sitting there, but frankly, it’s a miracle it didn’t turn into a riot.

Normally, a traffic jam has some sort of instigating factor like construction or an accident, but this has no visible point of origin. Someone must’ve just made a weird turn and caused some kind of black hole effect. Someone give Bill Nye a call, we’re gonna need a bonna-fide smart guy to logic this one out.
