Coca-Cola celebrates with new Fall flavor
A never-before-seen autumn flavor of Coca-Cola is hitting stores nationwide in Japan this fall season.
Japan is a country filled with many unique offerings and flavors, and much like how the country has many different flavors of Kit Kat, there are also many different flavors of Coca-Cola. This year for autumn, Coca-Cola is releasing a drink that is designed to capture the taste of autumn.
Apple Coca-Cola is the company’s first-ever apple-flavored release and is said to create a “rich, luxurious taste” that’s perfect for the colder months. The new flavor is set to hit supermarket shelves very soon and will stand out with its red-and-gold label that showcases bright red apples topped with leaves and dancing upon a carbonated fizz.
The drink will be offered into the winter season and will be made available nationwide this month for a retail price of 140 yen (US$1.29).
In other Coca-Cola news, the company will begin selling an alcoholic drink nationwide starting in October. The company will launch the Lemon-do alcoholic soft drink in Japan after a successful test debut in May 2018 in Kyushu. There will be three varieties, each ranging from 3 percent to 7 percent alcohol.
