Dog-Friendly Theater Comes To Texas
If you love going to the movies, then you’re going to love this movie theater, especially if you also love your dog and alcohol. K9 Cinemas in Plano, Texas — part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area — is a dog-friendly theater that allows owners to bring their four-legged friends along to watch a movie.
According to the theater’s website, “We have a big heart for our furry family members in our lives and believe they should get a night out with you.”
But more than just being a movie theater that allows dogs to enter, K9 Cinemas is “the world’s first dog-friendly movie theater with free wine & whiskey,” according to its Instagram page.
Tickets are only $15, and a drink, which includes wine and liquor is included. The best part, the wine is bottomless.
For those under 21, the ticket is still $15 and includes your dog’s admission fee as well as soft drinks instead of liquor and wine. However, if you plan on not drinking anything at all, then your admission is free, and tickets for your four-legged best friend are just $5 each.
K9 Cinemas is also transitioning into a members-only facility where memberships range from $19 a month (or $12.50 per visit) to $29 month (or $20 per visit) and include unlimited monthly visits, free drinks and access to couches for movie lounging.
