Duff’s Daughter Recovering After Infection From Bug Bite
It’s summer, and that means we need to be careful of the bugs that like to come out during the day and at night. One celebrity mom had to face just this situation when her daughter fell ill after getting a bug bite.
Hillary Duff’s seven-month-old daughter had to be hospitalized for an infection from a bug bite.
Thankfully, the 31-year-old actress updated fans saying that everything was okay and her daughter, Banks Bair, was “on the mend” after having to spend a night at the hospital.
“Cedars took care of us,” Duff said of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “They were really good. It was a long night in the hospital, but it was fine.”
“She’s happy and on the mend, and she looks great,” the actress added. Duff made headlines last year when it was revealed that she and her boyfriend — now fiancée — who is singer-songwriter Matthew Koma, were expecting a baby. Koma and Duff welcomed the birth of their baby girl back in October of last year.
“Banks Violet Bair this little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic,” Duff posted on social media, accompanied by a sweet picture.
