Harry Potter Fans Rejoice
J.K. Rowling isn’t done yet with the “Harry Potter” series as the famous author recently revealed that Pottermore will publish the non-fiction stories, all of which will be devoted to things from the “wizarding world.”
Four new books will be released and each book will be themed around lessons taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The series will have the name “Harry Potter: A Journey Through…,” and is adapted from the audiobook “Harry Potter: A History of Magic.”
According to a statement on the Pottermore website, muggles are to “Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it our own Muggle history, or the magical world created by JK Rowling) with this new series of eBook shorts.”
“In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages, and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic,” the website states.
The first two books of the new series will be released on June 27 and will explore Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions and Herbology.
The third and fourth books will be released at a later unannounced date and will focus on Divination and Astronomy as well as Care of Magical Creatures.
