The movie hasn’t even come yet and all the feels are in a whirlwind!
For the last year or so, Marvel fans have dealt with the vaporization of their favorite characters in 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” a movie which, needless to say, left audiences across the globe stunned. Thanos snapped his fingers, half of the universe’s life turned to dust, and since then, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes — those that are left — have been trying to figure out a way to bring back their friends, family, and Earth’s general population.
In the newly released trailer, there’s a lot of brand new footage and some clues as to how the Avengers are going to take down Thanos and save the world. The Avengers are apparently back in New York City, and in one brief shot, we see Iron Man in his advanced suit flying around Manhattan. Better yet, Iron Man and Captain America shake hands, confirming a long-awaited reunion between the two heroes.
We then see Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, and some of the Avengers in a flying a space ship. Hawk-eyed fans will notice that inside the ship, a few key surviving Avengers are missing: Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and Nebula.
Adding to the anticipation though, the trailer shows a quick scene of Rocket holding hands with Nebula and Tony and Pepper Potts reuniting. But the juiciest bit of the trailer is what appears to be the silhouettes of Marvel’s Trinity — Captain America, Iron Man and Thor approaching the Mad Titan Thanos.
The trailer revealed so much and yet so little, leaving fans on the edge of their seats as to what will happen when the movie finally comes out. “Avengers: Endgame” will hit theaters in 23 days, or April 26.
