The show has confirmed that they will be filming the last season of the BBC hit series but will be exploring the possibility of a movie outside of the TV show. The possibility of having a “Peaky Blinders” movie leaves room for possibilities including an origin story or a possible look into the future of the lucrative Shelley clan.
The writer and creator of “Peaky Blinders,” Steven Knight, revealed the return of the hit drama series teasing, “While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.” In a recent interview, Knight confirmed that “Peaky Blinders” experienced a production delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic that a majority of media productions are facing but the cast is officially back for filming Season 6.

This cryptic message has fans guessing the franchise will be considering movie options in the future as a new venture. Though the plot is assumed to continue following the dramatic conclusion of Season 5, Knight promises that the Shelley family will experience extreme jeopardy with the highest stakes of any other season.
This final season will conclude after the franchise’s latest venture of the Peaky Blinders Quiz Book, the soundtrack album, and cocktail book based on the Shelley clan.
