Supercut of 101 one-armed saves will inspire you to save some lives today

Just when it looks like all hope is lost and our hero is falling to their death, a hand shoots out and grabs them.

You could name 101 movies where this happens without correctly guessing which one that statement actually refers to. The one-armed save, or last-second-hand-grab, is a trope so deeply engrained in action movies that one editor was able to cut together 101 different instances of it happening.

From Sheriff Woody to Batman, no character is above the last-second, unrealistic save, as evidenced by the entertaining supercut above.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to go watch Cliffhanger on loop for the next eight hours.
