Ariana Finally Gets Her Grammy Award

Five months after the pop star memorably skipped the Grammy Awards show back in February after a creative disagreement with producers, Ariana Grande has finally received her award, and she took to social media to show it off.

In an Instagram post, Grande — wearing a flashy diamond hair band, earrings and necklace — can be seen holding her engraved gramophone trophy for pop vocal album of the year for “Sweetener,” which she won back in February.

“really glad i checked the mail,” the pop star, 26, captioned the photo, revealing that received the award via the postal service. Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, even congratulated the singer on Instagram, revealing he recently delivered the trophy to his client.

“I couldn’t have been prouder this week to deliver this one her very first Grammy,” Braun wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post. “There is no one more deserving and this is truly the first chapter of her epic story. She is an icon living and is exactly who she claims to be.”

Grande originally skipped the awards show despite being scheduled to perform because of a disagreement with producer Ken Ehrlich and his team. The pop singer claimed the producers would not agree to any of the songs she wanted to perform.

Congratulations to Ari!
