Prepare your money and merch K-pop fans because BTS may be coming to a stadium near you very soon!
Booming K-pop boy band BTS have announced their world tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself,” which is set to kick off in the U.S. this May, at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. The tour will also stop in Chicago, at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey, Paris, London, and Sao Paolo among other major cities.
Although they’re no stranger to stadiums in Japan and Korea, the North American leg of their “BTS World Tour: Love Yourself” took place in arenas. But after the septet gained fame and recognition stateside, they became the first K-pop group to host their own stadium show when they played New York’s Citi Field last October.
And while the announcement of their second world tour has already been released, the BTS World Tour: Love Yourself isn’t even over yet. The last leg of their ongoing tour wraps up in Bangkok on April 7. But the K-pop band will get their gears grinding again as they’ll kick off the Speak Yourself tour starting May 4.
Last month, BTS broke sales records with their second concert film, “Love Yourself in Seoul.” The movie captured their set at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul last year, grossing a whopping $11.7 million worldwide on its initial one-day release.
So if you’re a K-pop fan and love BTS, then be sure to grab your tickets for one of their show stops!
