In recent years, the marriage of food and makeup has gone from novelty to commonplace. People even started using real food items to apply makeup and many YouTubers can be found challenging themselves to do their makeup with everyday items in their kitchen. Now, the newest collection smells as delectable as chocolate and comes in shades perfect for the upcoming fall season.
There are a ton of scrumptious, chocolate-infused products on the market, but following buzzy holiday collaborations with Kye, Murakami, and Super Mario Bros; Shu Uemura Art of Beauty has collaborated with La Maison du Chocolat to release a delectable makeup collection.
Launching officially on Sept. 26, makeup fanatics can satisfy their sweet cravings in the form of two eye shadow palettes, six flavors of Shu Uemura’s rouge unlimited lipstick in supreme matte and cream, a metallic lip liner and two vivid brow/lash gels in violet and orange. The collection also includes two creamy blush shades, all-purpose loose shimmer powders and cleansing oil.
All the makeup is splashed with sweet chocolate fragrances and bright shades. Prices have not been made available just yet, but regular eye shadow palettes on Shu Uemura go for $115, lipsticks are $31, and brow gels and mascara are $29.
