It seems Presley Gerber didn’t have such a great start to the New Year.
Gerber, son of famous model and actress Cindy Crawford and husband Randy Gerber, was arrested for DUI right before the New Year, Fox News reported.
According to arrest documents obtained by Fox News, the 19-year-old was pulled over by Beverly Hills police on Sunday just before 4 a.m. when he was caught speeding in his Tesla.
Gerber was booked at 5:30 a.m. the same day, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Office arrest database, and was released around 12:15 p.m.
In California, there is a zero tolerance policy for minors, meaning a blood alcohol concentration of .01 or above can lead to an infraction. This means that Gerber, who is underage and has a misdemeanor charge, could face serious problems.
If convicted, he could face a one-year license suspension and a $100 to $300 fine. In a statement to USA TODAY, Presley’s attorney Scott Spindel confirmed the arrest and release.
“Presley Gerber has no criminal record and has never been arrested,” the statement read. “Presley Gerber takes this very seriously and is taking the steps necessary to address the allegations.”
Gerber is known for having done campaigns for Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana among other brands.
