Dog Chases Laser Pointer Taped To Her Head

Laser pointers have always been more of a cat thing than a dog thing. Also, apparently chasing lasers can cause psychological damage in dogs or something? I dunno, I heard that somewhere once. But you have to admit, there’s something kind of darkly funny about watching a dog chase something it can’t catch, especially when the something in question is taped to their head.

This dog owner brought her dog, Luna, over to her parents’ house to play around with their dogs. Just for laughs, she got a laser pointer and some light tape and stuck it to Luna’s head with the button held down. Luna was instantly hooked, storming around the house in pursuit of the mysterious red dot. She got so excited that the parents’ dogs joined in as well just to get a whiff of Luna’s good mood. Eventually, she calmed down, and the owner removed it.

Luna didn’t seem any mentally worse for wear, so maybe that psychological thing is just in some dogs. I do hope that they were careful taking that tape off though, or else Luna’s gonna end up with a reverse mohawk.
