Four Odd Earthly Things Left On The Moon

Space exploration is an intriguing idea for most, and for a lucky few brave adventurers it is a reality. It’s no shock that these pioneers wanted to leave their mark on the Moon, and the video above shows four of the oddest items ever left behind by astronauts. Allan Shepard, in true American fashion, used the Moon’s surface as his own private driving range.

He launched a golf ball into the distance to never be found again, as far as we know alien could be playing put-put in the craters! One of the creepier things left on the moon is the Fallen Astronaut sculpture accompanied by an eerie plaque listing all those astronauts who have lost their lives to the desire to expand their knowledge of space.

Even a small piece of Earth was left on the moon by James Irwin of Apollo 15, a hunk of lava rock from Devil’s Lake in Oregon. The final most interesting item is a small ceramic wafer, not to be confused with the delicious and flaky vanilla wafer, dropped during the Apollo 12 mission titled Moon Museum. The most iconic part of the wafer is the totally “not” male genitalia doodle by Andy Warhol. Go ahead an check out the video above to see the items mentioned!
