Hard Rocks Seminole Hotel And Casino Gets A Makeover
Hard Rock’s newest hotel, in the shape of a giant guitar, soars 450 feet into the sky and is an extravagant glass structure that no one can miss, even from a distance.
The hotel is part of the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino’s $1.5 billion expansion and for the first time last Thursday, the Hard Rock have a sneak peed into the structure whose construction began two years ago. The hotel will also be featured around Superbowl 2020 in Miami, in the Miami arena sponsored by none other than the Hard Rock.
“What we’re doing is we’re putting the line in the sand: Hell or high water, we’re going to open,” Jim Allen, CEO of Hard Rock International, said Thursday.
The world’s first guitar-shaped hotel, which established its home in South Florida, is part of a larger project – a $2.2 billion project expanding two Florida Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. The other location is in Tampa.

Both the Hollywood and Tampa locations of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino are Seminole-run resort casinos and contain glitzy, overstated fixings of a traditional Hard Rock property.
Guests will be able to experience the Hard Roc’s bold energy through various entertainment such as “The Oculus,” a free show encompassing sound, light, water and choreography; a day pool with club atmosphere to “rival any of Vegas’ pool parties”; and even spacious and luxurious bedrooms that start at 515 square feet.
The hotel officially opens Oct. 24. Starting July 24, guests can make room reservations and starting May 31 you can reserve tickets for the grand opening headliner concert with Maroon 5.
