Bold lips always seem to be in style, and more and more beauty bloggers are encouraging your look to be built around that bold lip.
So, how is that bold and beautiful color made? Refinery29, a woman’s destination for all things beauty, gives us a quick glimpse into the process of making lipstick.
It starts with finding the perfect color. The shade is created by blending pigmented powders together to get the perfect mix of colors. Once the color is created, a secret blend of solvents is added, along with some wax for hold and density, and the blend is ready to be molded!
The mixture is then cooled, placed in applicators, and never touched throughout the whole process (always good to know). Then, you get to decide what look you’re going to create with the perfect shade!
