Patients Now Have A Drive-Thru Option
Drive-thrus are a classic American attribute. From fast-food restaurants to coffee shops, South Florida has an abundance of speedy options for patients. Now the vacation destination is home to a drive-thru medical marijuana dispensary, according to the Miami-New Times reports.
Curaleaf opened its third dispensary with a drive-thru near Miami International Airport on Thursday, and now South Floridians can simply drive up and drive out to receive medicinal marijuana.
“It increases accessibility,” Curaleaf representative Vinit Patel said of the drive-thru. “It allows for patients that have difficulty moving around, getting out of the car, whatever the case is, so it’s just another avenue for us to dispense the patient’s medications to them.”
Patients who have a medical marijuana card, they can pick up the product drive-thru style at Curaleaf in Miami located at 5400 NW 72nd Ave.
“Understanding many of our patients live with debilitating conditions that may impact mobility, we are proud to now offer Miami-area patients our premium-quality medical marijuana products through online orders that may be fulfilled via our drive-thru or free delivery service,” CEO Joe Lusardi said in a press release.
Curaleaf features drive-thrus attached to their Palm Harbor and Orlando locations.
