Cookies Paired With Beer
What’s the most Miami thing you’ve ever had? Was it a Cuban coffee late in the afternoon to help you get through those last hours at work? Was it a freshly prepared Cuban sandwich? Or maybe it was a seat inside some of Miami’s most famous Cuban restaurants.
Well, there’s one thing you haven’t tried yet because it’s very new to the Miami scene, but encompasses what being Miami is really like.
Biscayne Bay Brewing Company will be launching an exclusive Dark Chocolate Chip Colada Cookie Saturday, August 10, made by the distinguished Night Owl Cookie Company. Andrew Gonzalez, Founder of Night Owl Cookies and Jose Mallea, Biscayne Bay Brewing Co-Owner, came together to create the most Miami cookie that would capture the flavors of Biscayne’s La Colada, an English style brown Porter with American Nugget hops. The drink features lactose milk sugar and coffee malt to create a smooth and chocolate tasting beer.
The cookie itself is infused with espresso, mixed with milk chocolate chips, and topped with a Biscayne Colada glaze. Called the Biscayne Bay English Style Porter, La Colada, the cookie is meant to be paired with Night Owl’s famous cookie shot, which will also be available starting August 10.
Additionally, Biscayne Bay Brewing Company will be carrying some Night Owl Cookie classics for visitors to indulge in.
