Miles Morales may be getting his own PS5 game
Fans of Marvel’s Spider-Man are sure to want to get their hands on the new PlayStation 5 when it is released. Insomniac Games has confirmed that the newly announced Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be standalone for the PS5.
Former rumors were that the title was simply a remasters version or an expansion of the original PS4 Spider-Man game. While it will reportedly be smaller in scope compared to the PS4 Spider-Man title released in 2018, Miles the trailer alone for Morales already received some of the strongest and most exciting reactions.
The title will see major enhancements to the game and game engine, according to Sony Interactive Entertainment, and there will also be new PlayStation 5 technology and features utilized. PS5 held an event that released specific details about the upcoming console and new games coming to the platform.
The main body of the console will use a mix of white and black for a two-tone design, with the PlayStation logo in the top left corner. Sony also revealed a number of accessories such as a Pulse 3D wireless headset and a media remote and a stand for the DualSense controller.
According to the teaser trailer, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will “be greater” and will be released later this year.
