“Tiny Pretty Things” is all about drama and dance
The latest Netflix series “Tiny Pretty Things” is an adaptation of the novel by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra about a group of young dancers competing to be the best dancer of the company. The story starts with a tragic accident of one of the premier dancers of the Archer School of Ballet after falling from a four-story building and introduces a new dancer, Neveah.
After entering the Archer School of Ballet, Neveah learns that she’s entered one of the most competitive dance academies and trouble soon follows. The dramatic plot is being compared to “Gossip Girl” and “Riverdale” but is also gaining attention for the talented cast. These are some of the debut stars in “Tiny Pretty Things.”
As the series surrounds dancers, it only seems natural that the cast features some of the best dancers in the country. The leading performer of the show Kylie Jefferson (playing Neveah) was accepted into the Debbie Allen Dance Academy as the youngest dancer at the age of six and was featured in the Netflix special “Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker.”

Neveah has worked closely with choreographer legend Debbie Allen who has inspired her to choreograph and dance with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Jefferson choreographed Travis Scott and ScHoolboy Q’s “Chopstix” music video and appeared on the 2020 Grammys.
Casimere Jollette plays one of Neveah’s competitors named Bette with prior training with prestigious dance academies including the American Ballet Theatre of New York City and Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. Jollette also has experience as a model and actor with recent roles on “This Is Us” and “Dirty John.”
The role of Nabil is played by Michael Hsu Rosen who is a triple threat with his Broadway debut at 17-years-old for ‘West Side Story’ with additional roles in ‘Torch Song” and ‘On the Town.’ Rosen has also appeared on the Netflix series “Jessica Jones.”
You can see more of the talented dancers by watching “Tiny Pretty Things” that is available now on Netflix.
