Oprah 2020: A Movement No More

Now, picture your dreams being crushed.

That’s right. After rumors speculated of the talkshow host mogul going for the presidency against Donald Trump, Oprah has since denounced any and all candidacy rumors. But she has a good reason, so I’ll forgive her this time.

According to British Vogue, Winfrey quoted “In that political structure — all the non-truths, the [B.S. (because let’s keep this semi-kid friendly)], the crap, the nastiness, the backhanded backroom stuff that goes on — I feel like I could not exist.” I don’t blame her; we’ve seen what kind of shady shizznit goes on behind closed presidential doors.

Okay, we haven’t SEEN it, but we’ve heard about it. Over and over and over again.

Regardless, I have confidence you could exist in that world, Oprah. Especially with Michelle Obama at your side. But I guess fantasies aren’t always meant to be true. Regardless of her future, her 3 billion USD net worth will more than suffice to keep her in the spotlight.

In closing, I guess the world has had one too many celebrity presidents for this lifetime. *shrugs*
