Yes, you read it right; Tom Hardy got a Leonardo DiCaprio tattoo. This is just amazing for so many reasons. If you didn’t already love both these actors, this should be your reason to jump on board. The tattoo was spotted in a selfie taken with Hardy by a fan. In the photo, you can clearly see a tattoo on Hardy’s right bicep that reads “Leo Knows All.” So what spurred this tough guy to get such a hilarious tattoo? Well, it wasn’t out of bromance, but rather out of a lost bet.
Celebrities make bets too, and ones that pose just as many silly consequences as us normal folk. Hardy is no stranger to this. He and Leo made a bet after filming the movie “The Revenant” together, Hardy saying he wouldn’t get nominated for an Oscar for his role as supporting actor, Leo saying he in fact would get nominated. Well, Leo was right. Hardy was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, though Mark Rylance took home the award for his work in the film “Bridge of Spies.”
The always anticipated Oscars are coming up in March, and this story is stealing the Oscar’s spotlight already. Tom lost the bet, which apparently was to get a tattoo of Leo’s choice, but received his first and only Oscar nod. Leo won big that night because he took home his first Oscar for Best Actor in “The Revenant.” Wow. Leo won a bet AND an Oscar, all in one night. This guy knows how to play his cards right!
