Let’s face it: people don’t use phone booths anymore, but they’re an iconic symbol of the past. The red painted boxes are still scattered around the United Kingdom, yet they attract more tourists to take pictures of than civilians to make calls from. So at this U.K. phone booth in Kingsbridge, you can pop in £1 (one pound for anyone who had to look that symbol up, like me), and you and a friend can squeeze into that compact space made for phone calls just to jam out to some tunes (I’m thinking Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”). It’s been dubbed the World’s Smallest Nightclub, or the best joke ever in my opinion, but it definitely makes me want to take a trip to the U.K. again soon.
