Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves have been inseparable ever since they tied the knot in 2012. The two showed they were more in love than ever when they attended the TIFF premiere of “White Boy Rick” during the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada on Friday.
The “Dallas Buyers Club” Oscar winner, 48, couldn’t resist showing some PDA with the gorgeous model, 36, as they shared a sweet kiss on the red carpet. The two also looked chic for the premiere of McConaughey’s upcoming movie drama. The model was the picture of elegance in her white off-the-shoulder dress, which came with an added layer of sheer fabric for an extra pop. Alves paired the dress with matching white-strapped pumps and wore her hair long with a part in the middle.
Next to Alves, McConaughey impressed with a classy purple suit, white dress shirt and black dress shoes. To give his look a more casual appeal, the Texas native opted to leave out a tie and instead kept two buttons undone.
In other news, the “White Boy Rick” star said on the film’s TIFF red carpet that meeting with the real life subject of the movie — Ricky Wershe Jr. — in prison was a revelation.
In the movie, McConaughey plays the licensed gun dealer father of Wershe, played by newcomer Richie Merritt, who was a 1980s-era hustler in Detroit who became a drug boss-turned-FBI informant before the age of 16. The movie also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh and Rory Cochrane as FBI agents as well as British actress Bel Powley as Wershe’s addicted sister.
