Pizza Hut wants grads to celebrate with free pizza
Proms and graduation ceremonies may have been canceled or have gone virtual, but the class of 2020 doesn’t have to skip out on celebrating their big achievement. Pizza Hut is celebrating the class of 2020 by giving away 500,000 free pizzas! Now that sounds like a celebration!
Teaming up with America’s dairy farmers and other farmers and ranchers, the pizza chain will be utilizing ingredients that would otherwise go to waste due to the market collapse. As demand from restaurants and schools dropped, farmers had no choice but to dump milk, destroy fresh produce, and more just to try to reconfigure the supply chain.
“Our brand has a long history of celebrating moments that matter—like graduations—and Pizza Hut takes pride in being a part of our customers’ big days,” Pizza Hut chief marketing officer George Felix said in a news release.
Students and their families can celebrate their accomplishments with a free medium on-topping pizza. All students have to do is got to www.pizzahut.com/gradparty and enter their Hut Rewards email. Afterward, they will receive a certificate for free pizza deposited into their account.
The promotion will run through June 4, so claim your free pizza soon graduates! And congratulations on your achievement.
