Aldi Releasing Cheese Filled Advent Calendar

Aldi is ready for the holidays already

Forget the boozy advent calendars; cheese is where it’s at. And after all, what better food item to pair wine with than cheese?

Aldi is making all your cheese dreams come true because they are releasing a cheese advent calendar with 24 different kinds of cheese every day for 24 days.

The cheese advent calendar proved to be a huge success last year, which is why the grocery chain is bringing it back. The Emporium Selection Advent Cheese Calendar will be a big blue box that contains 24 mini imported cheeses. The box will feature universal favorite like cheddar and gouda, as well as bougier items like Edam and Leicester, all of which are perfect for a fancy holiday season.

The countdown calendar will be available for purchase at Aldi stores on Nov. 6 for $14.99. But when you go out to Aldi’s to buy your cheese advent calendar, why not pair it off with one of their wines as well. Aldi’s has a great selection of wines and even a Wine Advent Calendar that “features an array of red, white, bubbly, sweet and dry wines.”

According to the Aldi’s website, “the Cheese Advent Calendar is made to directly pair with the Wine Advent Calendar, but it can also be enjoyed on its own.”
