The Met celebrates 151 years with Google
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is celebrating the 151st anniversary with the help of Google with a special doodle of the historic American museum. The Google doodle dedicated to the Met features an animated recreation of the museum with Central Park in the surrounding each letter of Google replaced with a different piece of art.
Each of the Google letters features paintings and sculptures from different cultures that resemble the shape of each letter. When you click on the Google doodle, you’re redirected to the search results for the Metropolitan Museum of Art to learn more about the museum.
Tomorrow April 13th is our 151st birthday! 🥳 And @Google is helping us celebrate with a Met-inspired Google Doodle.
For many of our global followers, the Doodle is live now!
If you're in the United States, check out the Doodle live tonight starting at 12 am EST. pic.twitter.com/nYgraRADHV
