Disney Is Not Stopping Anytime Soon With Live-Action Remake

Did you cry a river when you saw Mufasa die in HD in the live-action “The Lion King”? If so, then get ready to fly through another box of tissues because Disney is going to make the waterworks flow once again with the latest announcement of their next live-action film.

The studio is continuing to create live-action film after live-action film in its mission to breathe new life into the original Disney animated features. In August, Disney announced that the simple yet sweet tale of Bambi, a story of a young deer growing up in the forest, would be next in line for a live-action remake.

There was much success with “The Jungle Book” and “The Lion King,” so it only makes sense that Disney wants to continue that momentum of brining its beloved animal characters back to the big screen.

It is said that “Bambi” will be animated in a style similar to “The Lion King” in that the animals will be created using CGI, but there will be actual human actors voicing the characters. However, specific details about the cast and crew have not been announced yet as the project is still very early in the developmental stages.
