Johnny Depp has until Saturday to remove his two Yorkshire terriers from Australia, or else the country’s agricultural minister Barnaby Joyce says they will be euthanized.
According to Joyce, Depp and girlfriend Amber Heard snuck the dogs into Australia illegally by not declaring Pistol and Boo on his customs forms when he entered the country to film the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.
That’s right. The puppies would get euthanized.
American comedian Sue Smith decided to give the Aussies a piece of her mind about Depp’s dog situation in a hilariously acerbic monologue. Her stance: Um, do you know who Johnny Depp IS, Australia?
“Johnny Depp is from America, where he’s a celebrity. And in America, we treat celebrities properly. Like the gods that they are!”
