“Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight”

Sailor Moon has some of the most beautiful gowns and outfits in the anime, but if you’ve ever dreamed of dressing in the flowing gown of Queen Serenity, just know that it is now possible to do so!

Fashion line Mariarosa (with the help of series creator Naoko Takeuchi) has launched a “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” wedding collection, which is now available for rent or purchase. Featuring six gowns and two tuxedos (for the Tuxedo Mask in your life), the collection will make you feel like the prettiest guardian on your special day.

The first dress that has the Internet talking is the Classic Usagi Wedding Dress which reflects elements from Usagi’s iconic white and blue Sailor uniform. Transformed into the fluffiest ball gown, the white bodice of the gown dips into a V at the waist and cascades out into a long white skirt draped in royal blue tulle-like material. The bodice is even completed with an embroidered blue sailor collar and Sailor Moon’s big red bow.

Another dress featured in the line is probably one that is commonly worn by fans already. The Princess Serenity Dress, inspired by Princess Serenity’s white gown, is made with a chiffon-like skirt and a huge white gauzy bow that trails beneath the low-cut back. Golden hoops and pearls are woven into the bodice to give it shine and sparkle.

The third dress is the Sailor Moon Dress, a full skirt adorned with silver planetary symbols representing the five Sailor Scouts. The bodice comes with an optional collar that is reminiscent of the Sailor Moon uniform, and the entire dress is covered in a sheen of glitter to give it the magical shine of the moon.

The next dress draws inspiration from Luna when she was transformed into a human. The asymmetrical yellow dress is with layered purple tulle that comes out from underneath it and is complimented with two purple bows and a yellow collar, just like in the manga.

Two other gowns in the collection provide a splash of color as they reflect the hues of the Scouts. The Five Sailor Scouts and Sailor Chibi Moon Image Dress features the colors of the main heroines while the Four Outer Senshi Image Dress features the colors of Sailors Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

The final gown is called the Usagi Wedding Gown and is a replica of the wedding dress worn by Usagi during her wedding scene.

As mentioned earlier, the wedding collection by Mariarosa also features a tuxedo option for the groom. Called the Tuxedo Mask Set, the suit’s design is based on Mamoru’s alter ego and features the black tailcoat embellished with gold buttons and accompanied by a white inner shirt and bow tie. The tuxedo has an optional cape lined with an inner layer of maroon as well as a top hat.

The full Sailor Moon collection will officially be released in August, but reservations are currently being accepted in Japan. So, if you’re looking to proclaim your love with a moonlight romance, then this Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” wedding collection is definitely for you!
