Radiohead scrubbed their Internet presence to make room for a new focus: claymation nooses.
After some cryptic Instagram posts, the band released a video for “Burn the Witch” — Radiohead’s first new song since releasing its unused James Bond submission “Spectre” in 2015.
In the video, directed by Chris Hopewell, citizens of Model Village try to control the sin permeating through their picturesque lives, complete with fake clay trees. Thom Yorke’s eerie croon — “red crosses on wooden doors” — underscores the witch hunt.
The single will be available May 4, with their highly-anticipated 9th studio album expected to follow.
