Breakfast will never be the same…
On Tuesday, Jägermeister announced that it is launching something new and unexpected: Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee. Unlike PBR’s hard coffee, Jägermeister’s new drink still has “Jägermeister’s 56 herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits,” according to the announcement. But it also contains Arabica coffee and cacao.
Despite the cold brew element, it’s could change the way you breakfast, but it might not be a breakfast favorite. It carries a 33 percent ABV and is “geared toward shot lovers.” The company recommends serving Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee as an “ice-cold shot,”at -18 degrees Celsius. Each shot will contain approximately 10 percent of the caffeine in an average cup of coffee.
“Combining Jägermeister with coffee has been a fan favorite for years, so we wanted to perfect that experience for our consumers and create a product where those flavors were perfectly balanced,” Jack Carson, director of innovation at Mast-Jägermeister US, said in a statement.
So it seems the drink will give Jäger lovers a boost of energy to fuel even their late-night debauchery.
The new drink will not be hitting shelves in the U.S. or UK until January 2020. The suggested retail price starts at $24.99 for a fifth (750 milliliters) or $32.99 for 1 liter.
