Dubbed The “Taste Of Thrones”
If you are a “Game of Thrones” junkie, then you will probably want to include this destination on your bucket list. 25 Lusk in North Beach is the site of a “Taste of Thrones” pop-up restaurant and bar that features a castle-motif along with a photo-ready iron throne, one of Daenerys’ dragons, and of course, a drink and food menu fit for a king and queen.
“People are dressed up, they wanna be in the moment, they wanna drink those smoking cocktails, they wanna do shots out of eggshells. I mean they’re totally excited about this,” Chef Matthew Dolan said.
But fans better hurry because this pop-up restaurant will only last about six weeks and some of the themed-dinners are already sold out. Entrance to the pop-up bar is free and no reservation is needed.
In other news, few pop-culture events have been as highly anticipated as much as the final season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” It began with an episode that does much of the table-setting to which fans have become accustomed to, and the season eight premiere gave fans everything they could have wanted and more — a terrific start to the series’ final run of six episodes.
