Starbucks Goes To The Dogs For April Fools’ Day

Starbucks Plays A Prank

It’s not old news that Starbucks is willing to cater to our pups, thanks to their Puppuccinos. But on this year’s April Fools’ Day, the company literally went straight to the dogs with their latest “idea.”

In a video that the company shared on Twitter, Starbucks unveiled their idea for the Pupbucks. This new concept store is all about everyone’s favorite four-legged friends. In the video, the coffee giant said that they are “proud to introduce a new breed of stores.” And according to the spokesperson in the video, Pupbucks is a store exclusively for dogs.

The video shows the puppies having fun with their stuffed pup latte toys and toy bagels, so it’s hard to we imagine Pupbucks not being a success. In fact, it was an idea that many seemed to be on board with.

Twitter comments for this unique Starbucks concept were blowing up, with both the company and fans having fun with the joke. We Rate Dogs chimed in to tell the coffee shop not to play with their emotions, and Starbucks tweeted back to let them know they needed their help “develpuping the menu.” Starbucks even asked what could pair well with a “Pupkin Spice Latte.”

Even though this was an April Fool’s joke, don’t you think this could be a legitimate idea?
